For the sake of ordinary Nigerians who may not know, Nigeria, as some of us know, a fact which has also been corroborated by several public policy scholars such as Lanyue Zhang, Stavros Sindakis, Nipun Dhaulta, Simplice Asongu, etc is a mono-cultural economy. A mono-cultural economy, for the sake of clarity, refers to an economy mainly dependent on a single product or resource for economic growth and development. Nigeria, is without any iota of doubt, a member of the mono-cultural economy's cartel. What I meant by the above is very simple:
