Chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said only the vaccinated players would be eligible to apply for transfer who would also need to fulfill other conditions as well. Yusuf said these decisions were made by the Fiji FA Board of Control where the Fiji FA Players Status Committee will have the final say on every application. “Transfer applications will be confined to vaccinated players, those who have received either the first or second dose,” Yusuf said.

GFA directs Eleven Wonders to pay former player Abu Sule GH¢33,200

Former Heart of Lions defender, Abu Sule Techiman Eleven Wonders has been ordered by the Ghana FA Player Status Committee to pay GHS33,200 to former player Abu Sule or face a transfer suspension. The former Heart of Lions defender, who joined the Techiman-based team in December 2019, has not been paid his GHS20,000 signing fee, which the club has been ordered to pay within the next fourteen days. Eleven Wonders was found guilty of failing to fulfill a contractual obligation with Abu Sule, who was unjustly dismissed by the club at the start of the 2020/21 season, according to the Players Status Committee’s ruling.

Professor of Chemistry Kumar Sinniah is the 2021 recipient of the Presidential Award for Exemplary Teaching. As the highest teaching honor at Calvin University, the award was established in 1993 by a donor to honor a former Calvin trustee, George Tinholt. Sinniah joined Calvin’s chemistry faculty in 1995 and his courses and research projects have been raved about by students ever since. While Sinniah has taken time away from campus to serve as a visiting professor at institutions such as the University of Michigan, University of Maryland, and University of Cambridge, his heart has always brought him back to his students at Calvin.
