I want to thank you and the thousands of personnel who deployed and continue to work tirelessly to help the communities and families get back on their feet in the wake of every instance of the devastating events. Congress has passed to emergency supplementals that are providing an additional 26 public and to ensure the ability to respond to the aftermath of disasters. Now its time to shift focus is from response to recovery and while some of these efforts are already underway there is a long road ahead.
