Students of Staten Island Eagle Academy, win the Black History in Two Minutes essay contest

Quincy Baker from the Staten Island Eagle Academy won first place in the Funds II Foundation essay competition( Staten Island Eagle Academy Instagram).

Quincy Baker took home the gold medal followed by Kehinde Adeoso who placed second.
The Eagle Academy educates young men grades 6 to 12 in urban communities to become future leaders who personify excellence in character, academic achievement, and community service. This prestigious institute has a chapter on Staten Island that Quincy Baker and Kehinde Adeoso attend.
The Black History in Two Minutes essay contest was created in collaboration with the Eagle Academy and Fund II Foundation.
