Waukon, IA- The Funeral for an Iowa State Trooper that died from injuries sustained in an accident in Northeast Iowa will be held today (Wednesday). Iowa State Trooper Ted Benda was hurt Oct. 14 in a single-vehicle crash while en route to help the Clayton County Sheriff's Office with a wanted suspect. He later died from those injuries. Visitation services for Benda were held Tuesday evening. The Funeral for Benda will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, October 27th at the Waukon High School.
