Dublin born republican Martina Shanahan, jailed for an IRA plot to kill former Secretary of State Tom King, has died in Spain at the age of 56.
A member of the so-called Winchester Three , the trial gained global attention when along with her co accused, Finbar Cullen and John McCann, they were found guilty at Winchester Crown Court in 1987 and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
