OSWEGO and ONONDAGA COUNTIES – What may well be the closest race in New York State Senate history is over. After 41 days of counting and recounting votes by both
Tenney will be certified as the winner, defeating Democrat Anthony Brindisi.
That ruling comes from State Supreme Court Judge Scott DelConte. Judge DelConte ruled that Oneida County should certify its vote which makes Tenney the winner by 109 votes.
All the other counties had already been allowed to certify.
This however may not be over as this does not prevent Brindisi from appealing the ruling to a higher court or the House of Representatives.
Oneida County Board of Elections resumes proceedings in 22nd Congressional District race
Oneida County, Cortland County and Chemung County resumed proceedings in the effort to determine a final outcome in the 22nd Congressional District race.

Utica, N.Y. - The race for the 22nd Congressional District is expected to soon be back in the hands of State Supreme Court Judge Scott Delconte.
Each county resumed their proceedings this week to come up with a final vote count.
Today, Oneida, Cortland and Chemung counties resumed.
Madison, Oswego and Herkimer counties resumed on Monday and Broome and Tioga counties resumed on Tuesday.
