The Pennsylvania Senate voted Wednesday to approve flat funding for Penn State and two of the three other state-related universities, sending the bill back to the House, which had approved increasing that funding by 7%.
Leaders of Penn State's board of trustees told the Faculty Senate Tuesday that, despite a delay in state appropriations this year they expect that funding to come through.
HARRISBURG — A vote Thursday in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives failed by six votes, blocking a combined $642,206,000 in funding for Penn State, Pittsburgh, Temple and Lincoln universities.
