Tonight, weve uncovered new insight into the deadly standoff inside the vaughan correctional center. The head of the Correctional Officers union said floyd was stabbed and beaten to death. The other people held hostage were severely beaten and suffered broken bones. Tonight a former inmate who spent time in the prison tells nbc 10 he got calls from inmates during that standoff.
