Asian spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) was unchanged this week, keeping at a six-week high over $9 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) for a third consecutive week, as demand from buyers continued shoring up prices.
Norway s Equinor EQNR.OL would welcome more long-term supply agreements for its natural gas production, after announcing several such deals last year, the head of its marketing, midstream and processing division said on Wednesday.
The increase was due to lower losses from oil price hedging instruments, impairment loss reduction on assets, and gains from the divestment of the Cash-Maple project in Australia.
