Parliament had to scramble to find a new venue for President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address on 10 February after a blaze gutted the new and old Assembly chambers and offices on 2 January.
African National Congress (ANC) parliamentary spokesperson Moloto Mothapo said that while the investigation into the fire at Parliament continued, arrangements were now being made for the State of the Nation Address (Sona) next month.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in honouring a constitutional obligation, will deliver a State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament on Tuesday afternoon.
