other side here say, well, there was information that before these e-mails were forwarded to an outside e-mail should have raised some eyebrows, things about military intelligence, about the movement of gadhafi s forces and that kind of thing that should have perhaps raised some concern about putting them into an even further unclassified system. yeah, pete, and the fact they were from a state.gov to an outside server is something that they have been mentioned. thanks for being with me. appreciate it. okay. on the heels of the e-mail kroef controversy, a new poll shows democrats might be looking elsewhere. a quinnipiac poll out this morning shows joe biden running as well or better than hillary clinton in general election matchups against republicans in florida, ohio, and pennsylvania. vice president s favorability in those states are also slightly better than the current front-runner, but clinton is crushing all opponents in those

but being secretary of state and the types of things she was doing and the department of state having these rules changes the context of this behavior doesn t it? it s troubling. but to extend this point. colin powell used private email when he was secretary of state. only? well not uniquely but it was overwhelmingly where he did all of his communications. and the first secretary of state to use state.gov is john kerry. it hadn t been done before. it s a little troubling. is it troubling because the state department was behind the times? or is it troubling because hillary clinton was doing something that seems to oppose transparency? or both? well for me as a journalist it s troubling that we have a robust freedom of information law that says all government information is presumptively public with a couple of exceptions for confidentiality and national security and so forth and it seems the policy is disregarded in administration after administration at multiple
