Portsmouth Herald HAMPTON  Justin Cutting is the new director of the state Division of the Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services.  Cutting, who most recently served as deputy chief of the Hampton Fire Department, was unanimously confirmed to the position Wednesday by the state s Executive Council.  Also confirmed was Sean P. Toomey as state fire marshal and director of the state Department of Safety Division of Fire Safety.  Both were nominated for the positions by Gov. Chris Sununu.  “I have great confidence that Marshal Toomey and Director Cutting will serve the state of New Hampshire well,  and that together with our entire team at the Department of Safety, they will be working tirelessly to advocate for the safety and well-being of Granite Staters,” said Sununu.
