State Fair Men Defeat Metro CC In First Home Game
SFCC (2-0) opened the home portion of their schedule with an 85-78 victory over the Metropolitan Community College Wolves on Saturday, Jan. 30 inside the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.
The Roadrunners led by 17 points in the first half. MCC fought back to take lead in the second half. SFCC made the plays down the stretch to secure the win. Normally, if you have a big lead like that you keep the same lineup in the game but, we subbed some guys in just to see what we had, said Brown. At the end of the day, everybody got to play and we still got a win.
