Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): United Gorkha FC (UGFC) emerged as the winner of the first Gorkha Cup Football tournament held at Singrijan from June 23 to the 28th. In the final match, UGFC defeated Karagaon in a tiebreaker penalty shootout after a well-fought goalless draw in regulation time, an update informed. Rahul Gurung of UGFC and Vijay Pulami from GYCD, with six goals each, were declared the highest scorers. Divesh Chettri of UGFC was declared the best goalkeeper, while Nikaho Tamang, also from UGFC, was adjudged the best player of the tournament. Karagaon XI secured the best emerging play, while Ashish Rai of UGFC won best defender and Gorkha Panthers FC, Chümoukedima secured the best discipline team. Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): BJP Wokha district organised a free medical camp at Longsa Cultural Hall, Longsa village on Monday as part of the commemoration of eight years of BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. The camp was held in collaboration with the office of the CMO, Wokha and sponsored by Renponthung Ezung, State Executive Member BJP Nagaland. Ezung, in his speech, said that the motive behind the free medical camp at his village was for everyone to stay fit and healthy.
