/MONTSAME/ As reported by the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD), 8
people were diagnosed with coronavirus after performing PCR testing on 15,546
people nationwide on January 21.
All these
cases were registered in Ulaanbaatar city and one of them was a doctor of the
NCCD and others were close contacts of the previously confirmed cases,
highlights A.Ambaselmaa, Head of Surveillance Department of the NCCD.
The total
confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia now stands at 1592 with 1097 recoveries. 483 people are undergoing treatment at the NCCD, Military
Central Hospital, State Central First Hospital and 300-bed hospital of Khan-Uul

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It has become possible to treat stones in the kidney and urinary tract using laser treatment in Mongolia. At the initiation of Rotary Club of Khuree, laser equipment worth USD 227.8 thousand has been presented to the Urology and Andrology Department of the State Central First Hospital on December 17.
The Urology and Andrology Department is a crucial unit that offers its services on the national level. Some 3,000 patients are treated at the department annually, with about 800 surgeries.
