APC registration, revalidation exercise in Anambra turns violent

Members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Orumba North Local Government Area, yesterday thrown into pandemonium as the party’s membership registration turned violent in the Local Government Area.
It was alleged that thugs attacked Members of the Registration and Revalidation Committee for Orumba North Local Government and injured the APC Local Government Youth Leader and Member of Orumba North Supervisory Committee, Mr Ejike Kanu.
Mr Chukwudi Kanu was alleged to have masterminded the disruption. Membership revalidation: APC lauds members, stakeholders in Oyo over cooperation

FOLLOWING the commencement of membership registration and revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the acting Chairman of the committee in Oyo State, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim Sajoh, yesterday, lauded the state party leadership for their cooperation on the exercise.
Sajoh, represented Abubakar Bawa Bwari, who is the chairman of the committee gave the charge while flagging off the exercise at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Jericho, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The seven-man Membership Re-validation and Registration Exercise Committee addressed journalists in company of party leaders in the state, including, the Caretaker Committee Chairman, Chief Akin Oke; Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, Hon. Kehinde Olaosebikan, Fatai Adesokan, Wale Sadare, among others.

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) took a major step in uniting the party as members across all factions of the party converged on Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Monday, for a meeting ahead of Tuesday’s commencement of the party registration.
The meeting held at the new party’s office, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, saw members resolve and announce a total ban on factions within the party to include LAMISTS, SENACO, PDP Reform and Unity Forum.
Various stakeholders who spoke at the meeting declared that the Oyo APC was now an indivisible family that was poised to win all future elections across all levels in the state.
