國定古蹟台南大天后宮鎮殿的媽祖座椅，迄今已有200年歷史，而2004年發現座椅遭白蟻蛀蝕，經媽祖指示更換新座椅，舊座椅則由台南．家具產業博物館典藏，館方也邀請古物修護師協助修護，今舉辦安座大典，讓百年神祇座椅可永續典藏。大天后宮媽祖舊座修復暨安座大典邀請南市副市長趙卿惠、大天后宮主委曾吉連及知名古物修護師蔡舜任等人見證；趙卿惠致詞時提到，這兩年雖受疫情影響，但在媽祖因緣牽線下，大家仍齊聚修復座椅，彷彿重現百年前廟宇大火後，民間合力修建的感人事蹟，相當感動。
