A former member of the House of Representatives, Ayo Omidiran, has described the Super Falcons 7-1 humiliation by the United States of America in front of 65,000 supporters at the Soldier Field Stadium, Chicago as one of the worst moments of her life.

“If he (Dangote) wants to buy Arsenal, he can, but I think he should invest in a Nigerian club and make it world-class before buying Arsenal. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich had a club in Russia, his home country, before he bought Chelsea.”
Dangote had in 2020, on the David Rubenstein Show, stated that he would consider buying Arsenal in 2021 after the completion of his projects, which are reportedly worth $20bn.

Foremost Nigerian stand-up comedian, Atunyota Akpobome, popularly known as Ali Baba, has backed the calls for the sack of Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, The PUNCH reports.
Rohr has faced scrutiny following the Eagles’ run of four games without a win in 2020.
It further increased after the country’s sports minister Sunday Dare took to social media to question the ‘suitability and competence’ of the coach on the back of the Eagles goalless draw away to Sierra Leone in their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
