The Women in Technology and Science (WITS) Day will be held virtually this year on Friday, May 7. WITS is a major bi-annual event sponsored by Ohio University Lancaster, the Ohio University Pickerington Center, and surrounding community businesses and organizations. This year, sponsors include Midwest Fabricating, Scott’s Miracle-Gro, and Stars Consulting LLC.
WITS is a one-day, hands-on free STEM program for middle and high school students who are interested in math, science, engineering, and other technology careers. The purpose of WITS is – through education, enlightenment, and inspiration – to encourage young students to pursue an education in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.
