(RLJE Films/YouTube) Archenemy will be one of those mind-bending and insanely violent superhero films that will be hitting video-on-demand in December ahead of Wonder Woman 1984 . Starring Joe Manganiello, the flick directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer sees Mike Fist claiming to be a superhero from another dimension.
Naturally, the world mocks him in disbelief except for two teens, Hamster (Skylar Brooks) and his sister Indigo (Zolee Griggs). And while much of the plot is relatively unknown, a look at the trailer gives enough promise of some high-octane action and an impressive cast. Archenemy seems like a departure for Mortimer. In reality, there are a number of cosmic connections and visual cues that tie his films, and his comic book career, together in subtle but unmistakable ways.
