NCC hosts SpaceX delegation to discuss Starlink Nigeria 10 May 2021 | Melanie Mingas The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has welcomed a delegation from SpaceX as it looks to extend connectivity across the country. NCC and SpaceX have been in talks for several months on the possibility of launching Starlink services in Nigeria, however, this was the first physical meeting between the parties. Nigeria s target is for 70% broadband penetration, covering 90% of the population by 2025, in line with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS), 2010-2030.
