The 31-year-old black man was pictured wearing a t-shirt with Martin Luther King Jr. face on it and the phrases “Get your knee off our neck” and “BLM.” Also, the hat he was waring read “Black Lives Matter.”
DANVILLE, Va. â Since 2016, the Danville Historical Society has sold novelty jigsaw puzzles in time for the holidays. But amid the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for puzzles has gone up as availability of suppliers has gone down.
The pandemic made it almost impossible to continue the tradition for a fifth consecutive holiday season, but DHS officials refused to accept an off-year. The puzzles are all based on Danville postcards, DHS Corresponding Secretary Dave Corp told theÂ
Star-Tribune Monday morning. The historical society has over 1,000 postcards in its collection, just Danville postcards. Every year we go through and select four or five postcards for designs, and then we work with an international producer.
