And its dream to grow its business by adding safety technology to locomotives got a boost Thursday when FedDev Ontario announced $832,000 in funding.

“We have identified a lot of opportunity. We plan on investing that money and our own capital to expand the (Sarnia) facility,” said Jason Carriere, vice-president of OWS.
The money will be used to develop and install safety systems that will stop locomotives if they exceed speed limits.
