Reporter San Francisco does have an emergency plan for an excessive heat wave and they say that plan should have been activated before the temperature reached 106 degrees. Now with three deaths linked to that heat wave, they want to know what went wrong. Im very saddened by that. Three deaths is three too many. Reporter San Francisco supervisor aaron peskin reacting to a report from the medical Examiners Office. Three elderly people between the ages of 80 and 97 died alone in their homes from heat related illness. The deaths happened during the record setting Labor Day Holiday heat wave and they add to a growing list of questions about how well city agencies were prepared.
