Heavy rainfall since the arrival of Storm Christoph has had a huge impact in both Derby and Derbyshire, with emergency workers flat out to minimise damage to homes. The Environment Agency has confirmed river levels are still rising at River Trent between Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, however, levels at River Derwent are falling. A number of flood warnings remain in place, particularly for the River Trent.
