Where is Britney Spears when you need her?! Monday morning the tiny town of Endy, NC had quite a bit of excitement when a man called the county animal protective services to report his pet Boa Constrictor was stuck in the dashboard of his car. The snake owner had made a quick stop along Highway 24/27 in Endy while en-route to take the pet to the vet. It was just enough time for it to make its escape from it s container in search of warmer ground.
The Stanly County Animal Protective Services posted on Facebook: It is never a dull moment at APS, and yesterday was not any different! Our officers were dispatched out to a situation where a pet Boa Constrictor got himself stuck in the dashboard of his owners car. The snake was removed unharmed, and he is back at home! Way to go Sergeant Harwood, Jamie Parker, Lieutenant Smith, Sheriff Crisco and officers Heather and Shelley!”

A pet boa constrictor snake in the US state of North Carolina had to be rescued from the dashboard of its owner s car on Tuesday. Officers with the Stanly County Animal Protective Services were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a snake stuck in the dashboard of a car, where it had slithered during a trip to the vet s, reports WXII.

Someone s pet boa constrictor got loose and made his way into the dashboard of his owner s car, and it happened in North Carolina.
Fortunately, the good folks at Stanly County Animal Protective Services removed the huge snake from the vehicle without harming it. Employees disassembled a few parts of the interior, including the glove compartment, to get the snake out safely. The animal is back at home and may be considering a future as a mechanic.
