AMES, Iowa – A total of 1,800 poults (young turkeys) were placed inside the new Stanley L. Balloun Turkey Teaching and Research Facility at Iowa State University earlier this month.
Made possible through private gifts, the facility honors Iowa State professor and industry expert AMES, Iowa – On May 9, Iowa State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences dedicated the new Stanley L. Balloun Turkey Teaching and Research Facility, the only facility of its kind focused on turkey production at a major university.
