Montgomery County police have charged a Washington, D.C., man with committing 19 commercial burglaries in downtown Bethesda, mostly in the last few months.
Police made an arrest after investigating a rash of local break-ins. One business was hit eight times. Another was hit twice in one day.
Patrick Stanley Nichols, 56, of the 3900 block of Connecticut Avenue, is accused of 18 burglaries between Jan. 4 and March 24.
Police said in a press release on Monday that Nichols also committed a burglary at a commercial office building in Bethesda in February 2020.
