Prosecutors have withdrawn a proposed plea agreement for a Portage man charged in a 2009 murder because he hopes to appeal a judge’s ruling against dismissing the case outright or suppressing some of his statements to police.
A Portage man charged in a 2009 homicide in a case that had gone cold until a tipster came forward to police almost nine years later has the intellectual capability of a third-grader, a clinical psychologist said during a court hearing this week.
