BLUEWATER – Urban residents in Bluewater will officially be receiving annual green waste pickup in the spring.
During the April 6 regular council meeting, councillors passed a motion to direct staff to provide annual spring green waste collection to urban residents in the municipality.

According to a report presented by manager of public works Dave Kester, the municipality provides annual green waste collection to urban residents in the fall, but has no official collection in the spring. However, green waste collection has historically been provided to residents in the Bayfield area unofficially by roads staff.
