stanley s classmates crown point high school graduate jessica. thank you very much for joining us this morning. first of all, if you would, tell us a little bit about private first class jacob stanley. he graduated in december. went to join the marines and then came back. what kind of guy is he? he is a pretty good guy. i didn t know him personally. but i have always heard great things about him. pete: not easy to graduate early. i imagine it takes extra effort to say i want to graduate in december so i can go and enlist in the marines. yes. he is a very hard worker, obviously. pete: obviously. when you t. came to the graduation were you aware he would be wearing his uniform. were students talking about it or did you find out about it after the fact. i found out about it the next day when i went to return my cap and down with that he didn t get to go up on stage with us. and it was very disappointing. pete: tell me about that. as a classmate of this young man who decides he is go
reputation and get that out there. he did this through the law professor that got it out to the media. what do you think of whether of the former fbi director doing that? i think you should take responsibility do it yourself. there s another new york times story in the middle of march that one of his friends who tells it to the new york times that he doesn t have respect nor the president or the administration. that is his view of honest whatever he said he would be. that s probably honest loyalty i think is the term he used. didn t sound either of those to me. my real question, this is a guy that has every reason with a great career and public service to be a standup guy. why would you go through a back channel rather than just take responsibility. another thing i worried about, neil, if his concern was well, if the president does have tapes, i need to get my story
