Pham Minh Chinh elected Vietnam s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh elected Vietnam s Prime Minister Hanoi, Apr 5 (Prensa Latina) The National Assembly of Vietnam elected on Monday Pham Minh Chinh, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party (PCV), as Prime Minister replacing Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who became President of the Republic. Chinh, 62, who was the head of the Commission of Organization of the Central Committee of the VCP, received the support of 96.25 percent of the deputies and when taking oath he promised fidelity to the Constitution and to fulfill the missions entrusted to him by the Party, the State and the people.
