SUKKUR: Provincial Minister for Irrigation Sohail Anwar Sial has termed the IRSA and federal government responsible for water shortage in Sindh and Balochistan, while Prime Minister Imran Khan is unaware of the farmers’ worries.
Talking to media persons at Guddu Barrage, Suhail Anwar Sial said the Standing Committee in National Assembly had already discussed about water quota, while more than three million cusecs of water of Sindh are being withheld by the incompetent federal government. He said Sindh and Balochistan had been facing water shortage, especially for irrigation, saying Punjab and IRSA have ganged up and have been stealing Sindh’s water. The minister invited the concerned authorities to investigate and bring the facts to the nation.
