The Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Forest Cultural Landscape includes 5 ancient tea forests, 9 traditional villages and 3 separate shelter forests. The ancient Chinese people elucidated their understanding of "tea" when creating words. The top layer of the tea forest is made of tall trees, the middle is a layer of small trees and shrubs dominated by tea trees. Insects and birds that live in the forest help protect tea plants from pests. Fourteen species of wild plants under key protection in China, such as long-tailed single-chamber dogwood, grate-toothad and cylderwood, grow on the same land as tea plants.

It is with the deepest sorrow, we announce that Kimo Boone, age 22, our most beloved son, brother, grandson and cousin, passed suddenly on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, while in the hospital.
Kimo was a pure soul with a kind heart. An inspiration to his family and an example of how to be a good human.
His interests were vast from music to movies, poetry to art, anime to science.
A graduate of Fairfield High School Class of 2016, he would have liked to have been a chef but settled for being a foodie and fulfilled his dream of experiencing Japanese omakase in SF and Morimoto’s in Napa.
