Stafford Township Intermediate School basic skills reading teacher Mary Ruiz has been named the New Jersey VFW State Middle School Teacher of the Year for 2024. The award recognizes Ruiz s contributions to both education and the veteran community.
Ahead of the new school year the Stafford Township Police Department held an active shooter training drill at couple of the local district schools to continue to be ready for a situation they hope never happens anywhere.
