Ipoh International Run set for a comeback in July

First batch of 33,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines arrive in Perak

IPOH: A total 33,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have arrived safely in Perak in the first phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. Perak police chief Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the vaccine doses will be sent to four vaccine storage centres (PSV) located in Ipoh, Lumut, Taiping and Teluk Intan. “The vaccines have safely arrived at the PSV located at the Taiping Hospital and the Lumut Navy Base Hospital. “These vaccines were brought from the storage centre in Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, ” he told reporters at Jelapang toll here on Wednesday (Feb 24). Comm Mior Faridalathrash said the vaccination programme is expected to start on March 1.
