据北京市重大项目办消息，6月29日，位于国家会议中心二期的北京2022年冬奥会主媒体中心实现完工，具备交付北京冬奥组委条件。 北京市重大项目办城区场馆建设处处长黄晖介绍，国家会议中心二期主体项目，总建筑面积41.9万平方米，是北京2022年冬奥会北京赛区开工最晚、规模最大的新建项目。北京2022年冬奥会主媒体中心作为北京2022年冬奥会临建场馆，选址在该项目内，包括国际广播中心（IBC）和主新闻中心（MPC）两部分功能，是全球注册平面媒体及转播商的赛时媒体总部。总使用面积约21.1万平米。冬奥期间预计将接待3000多名文字及摄影记者，约12000名转播人员。是报道和转播北京冬奥会和冬残奥会盛况的国际新闻编辑部和电视信号制作传输中心。同时，主媒体中心又是国际奥委会媒体运行、奥林匹克转播服务公司，以及北京冬奥组委媒体
