32 students food poisoned after eating pastil

More than 30 students at a university in Davao City were food poisoned after allegedly eating pastil sold during a three-day fundraising event on campus. Pastil is a Filipino rice dish made from steamed rice with dry shredded beef, chicken, or fish and wrapped in banana leaves. The students were taken to the hospital and are being treated. The university has not issued an official statement on the incident.

Davao City Cops Strengthen Monitoring Against Lootings in Agdao Public Market

In light of the continuous looting at Agdao Public Market in Davao City, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has strengthened its monitoring in order to identify and arrest the robbers. According to Sta. Ana Police deputy station commander Police Capt. Rizalito Clapiz III, they will be conducting strict intelligence monitoring to catch those responsible for the looting activities in Agdao market. This comes after Rico Espragoza Gomez, grandson of an old sidewalk vendor named Ernesto Catienza Gomez Sr., posted on social media about the incident that happened to his grandfather. The DCPO has requested the sidewalk vendors in the area not to leave important items, especially money, in their boxes in their stalls.
