Heartless thieves target East End church in break-in bid Heartless thieves targeted an East End church in a mindless break-in bid yesterday evening. Police were called to St Jude s Parish Church in Garrowhill shortly after 11pm after receiving reports of the incident. Although no culprits were caught, police have launched a probe into the attempted break-in. Officers are appealing to the public for any information. A Police Scotland spokesman said: If you were in the area at that time and saw or heard anything which might be relevant, we would like to hear from you.
