EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The northbound and southbound lanes on St. Joseph Avenue were temporarily blocked due to a down power line on Thursday night.
According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, the fallen power line was located slightly south of Mill Road.
Both lanes have since reopened.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We have new information Friday morning on a crash in Vanderburgh County.
Two people were taken to the hospital after three cars crashed on St. Joseph Avenue and Schenk Road.
Sheriff’s deputies say the call came in just after 8 Thursday night.
Officials tell us a car was heading south on St. Joe when the driver tried to pass a slow-moving car in a no-passing zone.
