Though the official day was December 11, the charity said people could organise their own throughout December whenever they liked. About 30 organisations have signed up including the Cumbria Blood donation team, Cartmell Shepherd, St James’ Infant School, Whitehaven, Gibbons & Co and Thomas Armstrong Ltd.
