ISLE of Wight primary schools, due to reopen this week, are announcing their plans to parents. With Covid cases rising on the Island, and many staff isolating, there have been questions as to whether schools will open at all. Government guidance is that schools should open, and the Isle of Wight Council and MP Bob Seely have all backed that.
The County Press will keep a list (below) of what the schools are announcing. Please email editor@iwcp.co.uk with any updates.
Arreton Primary: Closed for Reception and Years 1, 4 and 5.
Barton Primary: Due to staff shortages, children from Freshwater, Yaverland, St Helens and Bembridge classes will be learning from home.
