A Co Galway woman who died in a house fire in London will be laid to rest today.
57-year old Kathleen Christina Edwards, known as Chrissie, died when fire engulfed her home in Croydon on 27th March.
A number of firefighters attended the scene and Ms Edwards, who was living alone, was rescued from the blaze but died at the scene a short time later from smoke inhalation.
The Metropolitan Police say the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Ms Edwards was originally from Cloonruff, Ballymoe, Co Galway.
