Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesia said on February 2
that it has sent five components of a crashed Sriwijaya Air SJ182 jet to the
United States and Britain for
Indonesia s National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) Soerjanto
Tjahjono told the media that the
components, including the autothrottle that
controls engine power automatically, had been sent for examination to help find
out the cause of the crash.
The plane’s flight data recorder (FDR) has been found and
read by investigators but a maritime search is going on for the cockpit voice
