Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha swamiji of Pejavar Adhokshaja Mutt visited dalit colony at Kodavoor village near Udupi on Sunday.
UDUPI: Following in the footsteps of his guru Sri Vishvesha Thirtha swamiji, seer of Pejavar adhokshaja mutt Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha on Sunday visited Dalit colony at Palekatte in Kodavoor village here. In his first such visit to the Dalit colony, the seer signalled his intent to play his part to unify the Hindu community just as Sri Vishvesha Thirtha did during his time, which many considered revolutionary step for the late seer’s time.
While the late seer’s visit was punctuated by the need to address issues of untouchability, Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha’s visit is driven by a vision to strengthen and empower the Hindu community across India through the Sri Ram Temple project in Ayodhya.
