Lankan Envoy presents Credentials to Armenian President Daily News (via HT Media Ltd.)
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Armenia Prof. M.D. Lamawansa presented his Letter of Credence to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian during a restricted ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Yerevan on February 23, the Embassy stated in a press release.
The ceremony was concluded with a discussion on the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Armenia. Special emphasis was drawn to the areas of trade, education, and health. Prior to the ceremony, the Ambassador also held a discussion with Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian regarding the government’s policies in bilateral trade, focusing on methods to diversify direct investments opportunities. the statement read.
