The first woman was talking about how she basically found out she had Breast Cancer through her own selfexamination. That was the start of it all. How important is selfexamination . Its quite important. A lot of patients do find their own Breast Cancer. In her situation, she knew something wasnt right. She had the mammogram. It didnt show anything. She had the 3d mammogram. Didnt show anything. She wanted an ultrasound. Thats how they found the cancer. Ernie how often and how soon should a woman begin breast exams . Every year at the age of 40. Now, if you have a Strong Family history of a young relative, perhaps earlier than that. And then i also think that ultrasounds are very important in young women. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott is live from einstein hospital where the officer is right now with the very latest on this breaking news story this morning. Hi, katherine. Reporter hi, sharrie. I want to start by saying the officer is in stable condition at the hospital. Hes from the 15th district, hes a 14 year veteran of the Philadelphia Police department, hes married. He has a three week old child and his family was here at the hospital with him. As for the suspect, he was pronounced dead earlier this morning and this gun was recovered at the scene. This all happened around 12 45 this morning. The officer and his partner respond d to a radio call for a man with a gun on the 6400 block of ditman street in tacony. They were on their way and they heard the description of the suspect and they remembered seeing him a block back
