Porsche is synonymous with three numbers: 911. But in 1996, the world was introduced to a new model, a two-seater, with a four-cylinder boxer engine located in front of the rear axle. The Boxster was born.
It made its debut as a series production model at the Geneva Motor Show with the second generation of the Boxster and Boxster S presented in 2004. Since then it has sold close to 360 000 units.
In 2009 and 2015, Porsche added the Spyder models, these versions featured classic motorsport designation that differ from the other Boxster derivatives, and not only in terms of their looks: as the most lightweight production sports cars from Porsche, they feature enhanced engines and deliver stunning driving performance.
