With six weeks to go before the 2014 Relay for Life, Helen Owen has one big concern about the fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.
“There’s still a lot of snow to get rid of (at Masich Place Stadium),” the team lead for the May 11 and 12 event said.
Apart from that, the numbers are looking good.
“We have 967 participants registered on 115 teams, which is pretty much on track for what we had last year.”
Those teams are starting to do some serious fundraising, with a number of events listed on the website at convio.cancer.ca (follow the links to find the Prince George Relay).
